A mile and a half south of the squares, along Bull Street between roughly 31st and 41st and spreading east to Habersham and south to Victory Drive: murals on the gable ends, two converted mid-century banks, a food-truck yard, a brewery in a Victorian house, and the highest concentration of good cooking in the city. Low-slung, walkable in about twenty minutes end to end, and almost entirely free of trolleys and tour groups.
Who it's for: Anyone who came to eat. Also people staying more than two nights who want an evening that is not the Historic District, drinkers who would rather be in a taproom than on River Street, and anyone travelling with a dog or small children — Starland Yard and Two Tides are set up for both.
