The peninsula is car-free and you can cross it on foot in about fifteen minutes — park on the mainland and walk in over the footbridge.
For the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun, arrive about an hour before sunset and claim a marble step; the whole city turns up and it fills.
The green and fish market runs mornings only, roughly 7am–1pm Monday–Saturday (Sunday until noon) and several stalls are cash-only.
Many konobas price whole fish by the kilogram — confirm the per-kilo price and the weight before you order, or choose a fixed-price risotto or pasta.
Several terrace bars (The Garden especially) are summer-seasonal, roughly late May to late September.
